Things that I remember:

There the junior sees the senior and he notices him wearing a ring around his neck and gets a bit sad(junior is still in love with him).
Also the senior had retired 7 years ago and that time the junior was still new to the industry and when he had heard this news he was devastated and had cried so much thinking that he will now never be able to meet the senior.

Majority of the story takes place in their adulthood when they come together to work and we just get few flashes of past from time to time to show how and when junior fell for the senior.
Junior guy - Had deep violet hair(as an adult), happy public persona but sad and lonely eyes Senior guy- black hair, also toned built (not buff), aloof personality and facial experience.
