I've read this like 10 times or more I just love it, while people keep hating it I'm loving it even more....
I like it for the characters and the romance but I do have to accept that the author has her own shortcomings and it's the right thing to talk about it.
The story is there, the romance is up to standard. It's quite enjoyable, if one doesn't justify satisfaction they get as being conceptually correct. And the latest claim by yaoi mutt saying "we get half assed works about cultures because it's what fills the author's pockets and thus we don't care about anything else except the sex and romance he or she brings" just makes me think about the extent and the mindset that is behind the generation of new yaoi plots and the haphazard appropriation and sweeping claims it makes in portraying concepts of culture, race and even gender.
At the beginning I was going to stop reading but I didn't I'm so glad that I didn't stop. I cried at the end and it was lovely
