http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/my_life_in_two_panels/ this ones kinda similar
Anything similar to lost in translation on webtoon? Like one of the friends sacrifices themselves for their friends and they don’t know and stuff
-Tomodachi game (friend game) (more dark though; like a lot more dark; there's a lot a lot of sacrificing, but there's some traitor as well)
-for Alice Academy there are many scene of friends sacrificing so yeah give it a read
-a returners magic should be special (he sacrifices though bc he is reborn into the past)
- http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/rasen_no_kioku/ (oneshot tho)
there aren't a lot of mangas or webtoons that I know that are like lost in translation; it's unique in that way; ill see in the futureif i notice any more like it

What do you guys think about manhuas? I personally don’t really like them
Im chinese and yes I don't like most of the manhuas too. Especially shoujo manhuas. The stories and plot are mostly the same, where both ML and FL hated each other at first but later on ended fall in love. Or ML is rich FL is poor. The only manhua that I'm currently love is a shounen ai manhua. Thats all.

I've always preferred mangas over manhwas. Idk if it's an aesthetic thing but for me I'm extremely picky when it comes to art style. I like to see high quality, very detailed art work and (ya'll don't come for me) but I feel like manhwas are just too cartoonish. Sorry I don't mean to offend any of the author's art work from any of the manhwas out there but there's clearly a difference between the two and it's just not my cup of tea. And I'm not a fan of colored comics either. Now if were gonna talk about the kinds of stories between the two I think it's hit or miss. I've read a fair amount of lezhin comics and I'm not a fan. Mangas over manhwas any day.
i don't really think they're that different than korean manhwa, but also i think you can't compare those two to manga because they're quite different. despite japan, korea, and china upholding similar values in culture, as a chinese person, i can totally see why people prefer korean manhwa over chinese manhua despite the similarities (usually) in art and style. but it also just depends on the genre. because some aspects of chinese traditional values may seem weird to others, maybe even to japanese and koreans, but i think korean humour/style is more appealing to westerners
you're right, i do think the chinese manhua or even donghua (chinese animation) industry has developed well enough. even just the chinese entertainment industry as a whole. foreign entertainment is still a bigger market there than domestic entertainment.
lately though, i've been seeing a spike in western interest in some chinese donghua or manhua, like tian guan ci fu or mo dao zu shi, which actually really surprised me because the xianxa genre is influenced by certain historical periods in china and taoism, buddhism, chinese folklore, etc and i didn't think non chinese would be interested in that because you have to be aware of so much of certain cultural details beforehand
Can someone help me find “romance 101 “ here
