Second, he goes back to his old world because he kills or destroys the co author by sacrificing himself (he goes alone without anyone) then after the word reverts and everyone’s memory of him is faded

Actually that’s for the best. He misses his family, but he wouldn’t want the connections he made in this world to suffer without him when he goes back, yet he wouldn’t want to stay (I wouldn’t want to either if I have my family back in my og world) so it’s best for them to forget him. I like that kind of ending.
