I have never gotten a tongue piercing but I have had several different ones. The thing about it is that it depends on each one. Some people got high endurance other don't feel much pain, others enjoy pain. I have high endurance plus enjoy some type of pain. I guess if you focus on enjoying the process and try not been too nervous you will like it too.
i think i'm one of the people who like pain maybe ..cause my ears full with piercing (〜￣△￣)〜 *i mean more than many (hand made that is why there are so many )

I recently got a tragus piercing on my left ear and just yesterday got a higher gauge on my expansions... I'm getting the helix expanded in both ears, two more and will be 10 mm. I used to have a nape piercing but took it off as I was learning thai boxing (which I had to leave cuz of a surgery so I still regret it...) and got 3 other ear piercings in each... hmm... 3 tattoos and looking forward to more. Love piercings and tattoos.

Dude, I got my tragus done by myself. Thinking to get the other ear done soon. Through the internet you get all kind of info on how to diy anything and how to take care of it low cost.
Just do it yourself.. It's more cheaper.. All you have to do is buy some piercings... You should ask a friend to help you out since you're a beginner(๑•ㅂ•)و✧..good luck
