I don’t get why peeps would be upset about romance in a piece of art such as this. It’s an action yeah but it’s also fantasy and in essence a life story. Even when he thinks back to his lonesome previous life I don’t anyone would wanna live like that. So I think that romance and things of the like are normal and it really doesn’t even take up that much of the story. So I’d hope that people just enjoy it as it naturally progresses with the story and even set up some awesome plot points. Because without romance the main character would even be here ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

I can't speak for everyone but here is my opinion on why I dislike romance in shounen in general: it is always done wrong. Everytime I read shounen with romance, at some point one of these things happen:
- the girl gets jealous and it runs it for a while
- the girl gets brainwashed or kidnapped and the guy has to save her.
- the guy starts out being cool and collected and suddenly he starts thinking with his lower half or he just becomes too mellow
Now, I don't think thr third point is valid for this one but the first too are very likely especially seeing as she has already gotten jealous and from spoilers, it doesn't stop there. So without romance, we've got more action and less drama. With romance it's the opposite. I would vote for no romance anytime everytime.
There have been very few action type stories where the romance is done right and from my own experience 100% of them have a female MC (like "light and shadow") who is powerful and is accompanied by an equally powerful ML. When the MC is a male, the romance is never right.
Then again, that's just my opinion.

I agree with you. When the MC is a boy, the romance will always go wrong in some way. They always put the girl really emotional, and I prefer that they focus in the growth of the MC.
I liked how the story Art said that he isn't really interested in dating. That he is neither interested in girls his age or older. But from some people, it seems that it would have romance. I just hope it doesn't go wrong.
I would like some story where there is only action and adventure without romance.
Ps. I also agree with the jealousy part. It always happens.

Here I am. Back after my fifth re-read of this wonderful, beautiful and quite well-rounded comic. I ended up reading again since I first read it a year ago because my curious friend asked me to recommend a Yaoi and I thought I would give them something with good story, comedy, amazing art and character development with just the right amount of smut. I’ve never seen a comic do story telling so well. I could cry. I ended up finishing it before he did and I keep screen shotting so we can fan-person together. But all in all I’m so happy. This comic sincerely just makes me happy. (⌒▽⌒)

My only problem is that the twins are actually mentally adults and keep making assumptions in the way that children would so idk. Like yes there’s a whole tone of miscommunication and awful stuff on the emperor’s side but their brothers have been super kind. They keep saying they want to escape but that place was awful.

First of all, they were abused for 5 years while they were absolutely helpless and had not even one single person to rely on except for their twin. That's going to fuck up any adult mind, so we should be grateful that they are still so well. They were abandoned by their paternal family, abused by their mother and caretakers, so who the fuck would trust those people. Although we know that there is a background story to explain it. The kids dont know and their mother always told them that they were not "pureblooded" and therefore dispised by the royals. And it's not like they hate their brothers but who are you kidding? They all said into their faces that they didn't give a f*ck about them while they got abused and lived in their personal hell, until they got into the palace. They heard their own father call them a burden and that he wished they were not born. I wouldn't trust those guys as far as I could throw them if it weren't for the background info. So yes their old place was awful but the only thing that really changed in the palace, is that they got some attention from their paternal family -which is unwanted and that they finally got some food and education etc.

Sorry for the rant, but I have read this kind of comment so often and it really annoys me. Abuse is going to fuck up your life -see domestic violence etc.- if not even real adults can overcome some of those traumas, how could some toddlers with the mind of an teen do it? And without help. It's like after their old wounds healed, everybody forgot what they have gone through and pretend that nothing really happend. I honestly dislike that family at the moment more than caitel and cloude -and those two are high-end a**holes.

I think another thing people are overlooking is that they have only been in that world for five years. During that time they were completely sheltered, had NO contact with the outside world, and had a tremendous lack of education (this includes learning to read a new language). They were born into a political setting, and in a world that included supernatural beings and people.
Mix that in with the fact that they were still kids in their past lives and remember some things from their DEATHS, and then going through all that with their new "mother", I think it makes complete sense for them to act the way they are, they are still growing and are trying to learn everything they can, AND face PTSD, trauma, ect alone.
I'm LOVING the story I think it's perfectly paced. If it was any quicker everyone would be complaining that it was "rushed"and "sloppy" . And for f***s sake we are only 30 some chapters in.( ̄□ ̄||)
Omg it’s finally resolved. I was tired of the distrust and constant running away. Now they can be happy.
It'll take a long time
