wow ok i thought this story was love at first sight thing, only to find out that it was just a ploy and the hero was a cheating scum a year ago. ok.
Listen I get what y’all are saying but that wasn’t cheating. Back then it was not a real relationship and more like a contractual one. Also after rei (demon king) talked about how he felt and that he saw it as cheating (cause for him it was an actual real marriage), ML (hero) did not sleep with anyone else

well let’s think abt it for a second first og violet was an awful person who theo didn’t like in the first place and og violet forced him to marry her, taking advantage of her noble status. yes he was a cheating mf but let’s not forget og violet was horrible too, to the point of abusing her child in the name of “love”. theo in the new timeline would have absolutely no reason to cheat, not that he should anyway, but he seems to genuinely love violet this time because she isn’t a bad person this time okay

this is a very fair take and something everyone should note too. to add to that, because theo was forced to marry evil violet and was engaged from the start as proposed by his mother, it let his resentment fester for years, to the point of hating evil violet and everything related to her, which unfortunately included their child they had TOGETHER which is crazy cuz that’s your kid too bro i think it’s important to take into account how the environment you’re raised in affects your character, because hating someone your supposed to marry cannot possibly turn you into a good person. but again because in the new timeline theo has no reason to behave like this, i think it’s fair to give him another chance
