ML is pretty manipulative in classic ways, reframing abuse to make it seem like the MC wanted it. Last ~15 chapters get dubious (ML does stuff while MC is on phone) to rape (ML’s rut). ML acts like he isn’t in control but def is with how he talks, explains, means what he says, etc.
