I've read tons of yaoi and BL online, but sadly only own 4 hard copy manga, 3 light novels and 3 anime OVA's. I don't own any digital copies because I don't have a tablet or e-reader, and my poor old phone can't handle much of anything. I would buy more, but as a single mom of 2 teens working my ass off just to pay the bills, I can't afford to buy ......   reply

Well, I like a good storyline with good art of hot guys. I like them to fall in love naturally. I like for the plot and characters to seem realistic. I try to avoid any and rape, forced or 'tricked into it' themed yaoi when I can. I like love and smut together, not JUST smut. XD I look for all the things that any love (+other genre) would have...o......   reply

I AM the parent, and I read it all the time. I make sure that I'm alone when reading any M/18+ ones...but I'll read softer BL/yaoi right on the desktop pc in the livingroom for anyone to see. My teenagers have no problems seeing different gender roles or sexuality portrayed in any kind of media because I raised them thinking that that love is more ......   2 reply

Almost everyone knows I read BL and Yaoi. There are very few who don't, and those are passing acquaintances and coworkers that I'm not close to, or clients of mine.
