He wasn't left with no other option since we all know that Ci Nian has no intention of telling Cheng Cheng the truth about Wo Wo and he will denied everything. Plus he has the right to get suspicious when their best friend/roommate pleaded no to give blood to a dying child who happens to be his son. As the father to Wo Wo, he's being denied his paternal rights, be as it may be intrusive, I applaud Cheng Cheng for wanting to find out the truth because if it was for Ci Nian he would never known the truth about Wo Wo. (And as ridiculous it may seem if Ci Nian is denying Cheng Cheng's paternal rights just because he thinks Cheng Cheng will change or see him differently then that boy is blind as a bat because Cheng Cheng is all about that Apple butt of his lol).
