Hello pplz,
So, I have been wrestling with the decision to continue Boruto the manga or not. There are a couple of reasons for this. The first reason is that I saw the movie and liked it. The manga, however, hasn’t caught up to the movie (last I checked). The second reason is that I feel really bad that Naruto is a crap ass father. As a character that didn’t grow up with parents, I would think he’d want to be there for his family. The third reason is the prospect of Naruto and, or Sasuke dying early in the series. With this said, I understand that at some point they are going to die in the series, but I don’t want that to be early on. I’d like them ( Naruto and Sasuke) to see their children get older. Especially Naruto. The guy fought to have family and become Hokage. For that to be taken from him so early would be horrible. The last reason is that I have heard that all the characters are just copies of their parents. I don’t know if that is true, but from what I got from the movie, that wasn’t so. Am I wrong on that?
Part of me wants to give this series a shot. The other part says no don’t it’s going to piss you off. A while back I put this:
“Ok, so I’m not sure what to put here. Part of me is okay with the new gen and part of me is screaming that this is all bullshit. Especially with the hint of Naruto being dead in the beginning.
I mean what the fuck!? Seriously? That in and of itself makes me wish that they just would have ended the series after Naruto and Sasuke's fight. At least with that fans could add their spin to what they think happened next. The beginning makes me wonder… Where is the rest of Team 7, and Boruto’s team? Is Naruto dead or could there be a chance of a bluff happening? Idk either way right off the bat this leaves a bad taste in my mouth.Now with that said I would say that I’ve seen Boruto’s movie and I liked that. That is a million times better than this… The movie appeased me in that I got to see Naruto being a dad, the Hokage and having a family. The way the movie started and ended was great! But this manga…… I feel like it’s a disaster. Kind of like beating a dead horse….”
I don’t know how long ago I post this. I believe maybe it was back in October ( could be completely wrong). I still feel some of this, but at the same time, I want to give the series a chance. For those who like or dislike Boruto can anyone give me a yay or nay on this series? I followed the original Naruto from the moment I stumbled upon it ( when the episodes with Zabuza was airing). That Naruto fan in me is having withdraws from the series ( rewatch lol) and in that withdraw, I stumbled again over Boruto ( which again got me thinking about this).
For this, I’d like a friendly conversation on the series. I’d like to see what peoples thoughts are. I don’t want fighting or people getting pissed at each other ( we all got our opinions). So Naruto fans if you guys have anything that may sway me one way or another or just wanna say something to this, please give a comment to this. I am genuinely curious to see where the Naruto community is when it comes to Boruto.

To be honest, when i first heard of naruto, it didn't appeal to me that much not until ofcourse i got stuck with it because my uncles were watching it and i get to watch it too and it just grew on me and now i'm stuck with all these feels forever.
Boruto series is the same for me, it didn't give much of an impact for a starter because i don't know, i just don't like Boruto's character at all? I mean, the way he treats his father was just a major turn off (maybe bc i'm a bit biased with Naruto since I know that man's full story and all the angst he went through). But i also weighed in the cool new jutsu's and ofcourse the new characters especially Orochimaru's "kid" and Sarada were interesting, i love Himawari too, i mean i would personally prefer Himawari to be Godlike bc that kid is awesome and cute lmao. Thinking all of this made me realize that maybe i will hold back from watching it until i accept the fact that Naruto will not be continuing and that Boruto's story is another seperate story and when i would stop from linking and comparing everything to the original Naruto series.
Spoilers is going to be all over my facebook timeline anyway since i manage a bleach/naruto/onepiece page in fb. If you're going to watch Boruto, think of it as a completely different series, change is an inevitable thing, people change so does Naruto and the impact of his actions may have affected Boruto big time. I would say give Boruto a chance, he is still a kid and there should be a proper reason, there always is. Do not think of Naruto's past and apply to Boruto or maybe that's just what the authors wants us to think right? Maybe it's all part of the roller coaster angst? Who knows? Maybe this is what the Boruto series is going to teach us.

If you guys like Haikyuu, I would recommend the Prince of Tennis. Has a lot of guys, almost no girls, and there are a lot of yaoi ships. The author himself even makes some ship jokes at times (=・ω・=)

Okay so this is related to Shingeki no Kyojin ( Attack on Titan). I saw a work titled Smile At You by 雅 (copied the name) and its ending made me cry so bad. I sooo hope thats not the way things went.... if so then im not sure if i wanna stick with it and continue reading. Its depressing. I tried to google it but google isnt giving me anything. So I really liked the Hunter X Hunter anime until the Chimera Ant arc ( just lost interest)
My favorite characters are Killua and kurapika.Killua more haha( dont get me wrong I like the other chars but these are my fav)
My question is, should I start the manga.
The reasons im asking is because of the following: 1) I heard kurapika and killua is in and out of the scenes. IMO they are the most interesting chars and w/o them I can't really see myself getting into it. ( espically the bond between Gon and Killua- my fav hehe) 2) I heard that Gon pretty much ditches Killua and its pretty heartbreaking. that makes me sad. They're friendship is prob one of the best ones ive seen in a long time. If this is really true then I'd loose interest pretty dang quick. 3) I heard the author takes long breaks from the manga, Dont usually mind that but is it worth keeping up with?

I recommend the manga I liked it and I've also heard good things from people this is the reason why I started reading it..
The only flaw is that the author is a bit lazy and it takes a little patience to wait for the new chapters.
However if you want to read it starts from the beginning.
it's true the chimera arc is sad but that whats so good about it in fact it's the best one in my opinion also killua and gon are both in that arc but if you skip it you would not understand the next arc only bad news is that kurapika does not appear in chimera arc or the next one ... the author is on haitus since last year because of back issues but it could be a lie because last time was because he was addicted to a game dont remember the nameand even had to check in to rehab :(

So a while back I read a manga that I'm not sure I liked and want to give it another shot.
Its about two guys who use to be friends. One of them is a business man( forget what time of business but wanna say its illegal). The friend of the businessman becomes his "steed" for an underground match in which if you lose your humiliated. The friend does this because he feels he owes his friend. The friend does it as a payback because of something that happened in their childhood. Tho it turns out that the friend ( the one that was the "steed" was lied to and he tried to get help and was injured in the process. The business friend finds out the truth and feels bad and tries to get the friend out of the mess that he put him in.
I dont recall anything else other than that. Anyone know it? Thanks

I watched and LOVED the anime that was created from these two. Now my question is, if I read the manga will the story be really different?
I dont mind if it is. What I dont want to happen is me read the manga but know everything thats gonna happen. Takes the fun out of it ( for me anyway)

They're the same, except the sex scenes aren't skipped. So yes, for the first chapters you're going to know what will happen. But both mangas are ongoing, so you could just skip those chapters and read the ones that still aren't adapted into anime. You'll probably be missing on small details though, and of course the smut :P
