Isn't the age of consent 16 in Korea or something? (Correct me if I'm wrong.) Also Hooni ain't real literally any age could've been slapped onto him. Fiction affects reality but not on a 1:1 basis, if it did then brothers and sisters would be fucking left and right considering incest porn has been around since like, the 1970's. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍ I'm so tired of this discussion fuck off.
i mean is it so hard for the author to age up the character to at least eighteen if youre going to sexualize him? thats what im curious about, like why does he have to be a child but idk (also sex laws in east asian countries have always been shitty, esp. in korea and japan, so its not really a valid argument)

Maybe because then they could have a birthday segment while also keeping the school setting? The age of consent in 34 AMERICAN states is also 16, so it's a totally valid point. Accept that in different places there are different laws and quit dragging ParkGee in the mud for not following your specific moral code. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

if your standard is AMERCA idk what to say but theres no doubting that you are a child at age 16, and thats not some rare, specific moral code. and not all sex laws in different countries should be accepted like youre saying, especially when it's concerning age of consent and sexual assault (for example, the age of consent for japan was 13-14). im just saying why was it so difficult to make him 18? all for a birthday scene? really?
Europe has plenty of countries with the same age (16) of consent. Also yeah, it kinda is. What's so special about the age 18? In Japan, you are considered an 'adult' at the age of 20, does that mean we can no longer sexualize characters with 18-19 slapped on them? Personally, if it were up to me every character in the world would be 21, then they could drink, fuck, and smoke in fanart as we please without dipshits complaining about it. Also this is all stupid. Hooni isn't real. He isn't even a 'minor' he's a damn fictional character that once again, could've had ANY age put on him. He isn't going to be traumatized like an ACTUAL minor being sexualized because he isn't real, thus 'he should just be 18' is null and void because it doesn't really do anything but make you (and a bunch of other randos) a little more comfortable. There are plenty of comics (mangas? manhuas? you get it.) with 18 year old protags, just go read one of those. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ I'm sorry that ParkGee didn't make Hooni your specific wanted age. Kinda sucks, hope you feel better soon.
you're the one who started the argument so calling it stupid when you decided to start it baffles me. 18 is when the brain is more psychologically developed so you can make better decisions, so no, it's literally not a specific moral code. it doesnt matter if the character's just that, a character, people are allowed to express their discomfort about the unnecessary element of a minor character and criticize the author for such a controversial decision. if you're willing to die on this hill of defending an artist who draws minors lewdly, go for it but im just stating my own opinion and i hope you have a great day.
