The whole point of this manga revolves around them. I’d agree with you if this shit was a cute normal cliche school yaoi but its not. Its a yaoi about real shit such as a rigid caste system, that sometimes society follows. Azusa is a character not to be fucked with even if he is a target and he still has will and power even being the lowest caste. That is the point of the manga, for him to not to give up or he has basically given up to society. If he becomes a couple with that one dude, the story wouldn’t be as interesting and im sure the author is going to change it up at one point. Just gotta be patient
i wish it doesn't take a twisted turn and end up with a tragedy since like u said he is not supposed to give up to the systeme but maybe give up to love and affection he may get from kirino . from the start this is not supposed take much time for one of them to take action but i hope they get closer and deeper to understand each other
