You have to read the main couples story to understand the side chapters where the second couple shows up, so if you don't like the first one, you probably wouldn't be interested.
I don't think that if you don't like the main couple you won't be interested in the second couple, I am on ch 20 and still don't really like the main couple but I'm dying to see the secondary couple with the little they already gave us, I feel like the main couple have little to no chemistry, I don't think I'll grow to like it but idk, maybe in future chapters I'll eat my own words lol ╮(￣▽￣)╭
