So basically, based from the novel updates, the caused of what is happening to her now (the nodding off and maybe the sleepwalking etc..) was caused by a voodoo doll with the MC’s hair on it. It is kinda related to black magic stuff and anyway, the perpetrator was one of the maids that was hired WITH A RECOMMENDATION LETTER FROM THE PALACE...so I hope ur thinking what I’m thinking on who was the one ordered something like that ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Anyway, since the MC caught the perpetrator, she kinda confront the maid and asked who ordered it but the maid is pointing at the step-mother, which—for the MC—it doesn’t make sense because her step-mother is in house arrest and cannot meet someone or receive letters from outside. She also confronts her step-mother and finds a way to make her talk on who might be the one behind all of this I think, then when the step-mother eventually planning to talk, she was stabbed by the maid that resulted into her demise

Mielle shoves the Count down a flight of stairs during a party & screams that the MC did it. However, when MC tried to catch the Count, the special bracelet that ML gave her broke. He warped in, saw what happened, grabbed MC & teleported away with her in front of a shocked Mielle. Together, they stitched together an alibi for MC (the only witnesses at the party were Mielle's friends but they didn't see the ML) by traveling through towns & leaving behind receipts in front of many witnesses. ML also gave MC his own bracelet (it's a one of a kind set made to alert him if MC is in danger) since her's was broken.

Mielle ranting about ML's powers was used to their advantage because they claimed that Mielle probably took hallucinogenic drugs at the party (which resulted in everyone getting interrogated & tested & this caused her friends to immediately retract their statements about seeing MC push the Count). Frey is the judge proceeding over this trial btw. The Count is still super paralyzed so after he regains consciousness, he doesn't say a single thing about lessening Mielle's prison sentence, even when Cain asks him to (Cain agreed to playing along with Mielle's deception so he could take the Count's power early, break off MC's engagement & then forcibly keep her confined in the house with him).

Our mc didn’t have the chance to use the hourglass because our ml appeared and uses teleport with aria to go somewhere before anything could happen after mielle pushed the father. So yeah, after the push I think mielle took the blame or she just said that their father fell down the stairs by himself because what mielle did is she’s planning to pin the blame on aria but since our ml appeared and disappeared with aria, her plan backfired.


I think after the fall, the father could not walk anymore and the big brother became the one to manage the household as far as I can remember only. It also gets to the point that the brother always forbids aria to meet our ml
