wow !
that was deep. :(
When you finally become 18 years old and start reading yaio legally
(๑•ㅂ•)و✧ Sense of accomplishment.
That's nice. There's many people that isn't innocent anymore since they read them during a very young. That includes me. Haha must be nice to be able to enjoy the innocent time and then started to get to know what sex can do. (No sarcasm intended)
You say legally, yet your reading on a site with illegally published stories....logic
Im 15
Fujoshi : " goodnight im going to bed. "
Family members: " but it's still 7 pm! "
Fujoshi : " I SAID GOODNIGHT IM SLEEPY" ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~ leaves the room and read yaoi in bed till 3 am .
I'm not living with my parents so it doesn't happen to me but I can relate it somehow ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
Me: I'm reading a (yaoi) manga. It has a nice story
Friend: what is the story about?
Me: *tells a nice plot with changing seme as person A and uke as person B*
Friend: interesting! Can I know what the title is? *friend is not a fujoshi and a bit grossed by yaoi*
Me: umm... I forgot the title, the title was so long and I cleared my history ( ° ʖ °)
Unlike my situation. I just read yaoi regardless. :'D My room is right near the kitchen/living room too, so they can walk into my room at any moment but my door is always closed and i listen for footsteps. Plus i never leave the house or my room, so it doesn't seem weird. xD Anyways, night time is peaceful. (▰˘◡˘▰)
For how long have you been reading manga? Did it change anything in your life?
Started in college and stopped about a year after I began when I realized that tentacle porn was a thing. Scared me that much. Not kidding.
Over a decade later someone randomly asked me what my fave anime was and that drew me to this site for some reason and here I am. I can't really say how it's changed me professionally, although it has in really crazy ways, but personally? Suffice it to say reading about something and then trying it with a willing partner is kinda fun. (=・ω・=)
Hmm, for about 5 years...I think I started with Lovely Complex...or Naruto?
Oh, and many things changed! For example my english. I used to hate that subject, but now I really like it and my english teacher always praises me (I know I'm bragging XD). Manga also influences my artsyle and I learnt some good of life lessons from the stories I came across.
maybe 2 or 3 years, I forgot already.
of course, because I spend almost all of my day in my house, I didn't have real friends or friends in real life. I have communication problem, in my country's language nor english, other than that I also have difficulty speaking. I don't know what must I say to people and how to deal with people.
now, at least I know how to say thank you but I don't know how to said sorry properly yet.
Since 2011. After reading yaoi I feel relaxed.
For two or four years.. I think it helped me get into doing more writing for anime , like fanfiction.. And yeah , I used to do things mindlessly , but since getting into manga again (recently) I do not just sit around anymore and I have fun without bothering my parents (and if stories are good , it makes me happy and I do not get mad or annoyed easier!) so I am more glad than upset about staying at home..
I've been reading it for 3 years, and yes it has influence me a lot. It made my grades better and it's one of my greatest influences to become a doctor ^^ It did turn me into a night owl which I think isn't such a bad thing tbh (=・ω・=) and of course one of the best things is that it opened me up into such a great community here in Mangago ^^
about 11 years but was watching anime for 20 years. Reading yaoi for about 10 years. started reading yaoi when dad past, had to stay awake some how, to look after the house, did not feel safe until i read some good manga's. I read to make me relax at night to sleep now i can't sleep until i have read some yaoi. I loved to read, used to read MF books now i read only MM books
I've been reading manga I think 3 yrs. Started actually by watching anime (4 yrs). I have an allergy to the sun (and I live in a desert city hot hot hot in summer time) so I don't go outside much. I've always been a bookworm I could read at least 3 books a day. It's easier on my hands to read manga online (I also have nerve issues). Good influence is that when I watch anime with my kids we watch Japanese with English subtitles so kids get good practice reading. Also my daughters read mangas on their phones so I influenced them also. Bad thing is... I have to make sure I do my housework before reading cause when I start to read or watch shows I get too caught up and don't want to stop! Lol!
Comments on new manga doesn't show to me :(
Am i the only one or is it a bug?
