i agree with you on this...i don't get it, she is better than many other FLs out there...*one of the FLs that i hated so much was the solo leveling one and i dropped solo leveling because of that.*this one is ok imo(i also read the novel to some point.)

solo level is barely any romance. That girl only had a crush and the MC is not much with romance either. literally rn the manhua consists with 1% romance most of it is action based. dont know hwy u dropped it but i think you should read it back again because currently its really badass (⌒▽⌒)

in terms of solo leveling being a good manhwa, there is no doubt...but i read the novel and i know what's gonna happen. unfortunately there is a serious romance part and from the first time i saw this girl, i disliked her A LOT and i actually can't bare looking at her with arts and drawings in the manhwa so i dropped it the second i saw her there lmao. there is this other manhwa which i love the FL in it and it has the same vibe as solo leveling but better somehow(imo it has a better storyline and art) it's called the Ranker who lives a second time(currently on hiatus bc the scan gp was found out by the author T.T)

yes..*spoiler* they're gonna get married and have a son later. i hate it when FLs show up out of nowhere in fantasy/op mc stories i still remember the cringy feeling that i had while reading the novel...she has a smell fetish, at first she approached him because he smelled nice...she was sticking near him because of that and claiming other men don't smell like the way he does, time passed and she saw how powerful he is so she fell in love and insisted on joining him no matter what. at the end of the day her efforts didn't go to waste and she got him and had a son with him. the thing is i liked the healer girl a lot...she supported him throughout the hardships when he was just a normal weakling for 2 3 years. she told him to come and get her but he never did and that broke my poor heart. i wanted her as the FL but the author is a male obviously and guys like to see strong sexy girls so he just added the short haired one for the sake of the other guys going wow i guess :/

in this one the elf girl is not showing up out of nowhere...they are childhood friends and they supported each other as kids and teens so i have zero problems with her.

ranker who lives twice has such an amazing story, read it if you like this one and solo leveling, you won't regret anything.(⌒▽⌒) the FL in it is a kind hearted one but she is also so freaking strong.

After thinking it through, the time when Reynolds died was a combination of Tess tantrum, Art abbondoning his post, because he believed that Flamesworth (forgot his name, Jasmine's father) will go with Arts plan and Flamesworth not going with his plan. If Tess kept her formation and wasn't selfishly throwing a tanrum thinking that she can save everyone, the situation in the forest wouldn't be THAT bad, so then maybe Art wouldn't leave his post and he would make sure that Flamesworth will go with his plan and then Reynolds could survive. On the other hand what urged Art to go that way was the magic trail leading to the heart of Elenoir, so maybe he would go there regardles of her tantrum simply because she was there and he was worried.

About Tess herself I'm starting to like her less and less with time, becuse under the guise of protecting everyone and helping Art she's trying to be independnt and stronger, but all she does comes down to selfish actions just to feel better about herself and to feel self-important and it all ends up in dissapiontment and causing trouble to everyone around her.

i read the novel before to some point...she has her own downsides of course...she is not perfect but she is not bad either. she makes some mistakes but i don't blame her all the way. her character is somewhat strong in the novel, they need to lower that in the webtoon and as i can see they will hopefully do that :)
