Where can I find more couples like this? You know couples where the ml isn't an asshole and is actually a wholesome guy and the female lead is actually someone who can stand on her own 2 feets. I am just so over the troubled bad boy trope, so looking for recs for more ml like Caesar.

Kind of hypocritical of Remi using the I am trying to protect people tactic when she never actually defended the lower tier people. She just seems way too ignorant of her world. John is still being an violent asshole in his insanity phase (which is completely arlo's fault) but I wouldn't mind John destroying the whole high tier. What he is doing doesn't exactly give him the higher ground because he is basically fighting bullying with bullying but sometimes you need stuff like this to reveal the gaping flaws of the system. Either way, Sera is still the most heroic character of this story.

Lets be honest, the only heroic character in the show is Sera (and maybe Remi), the rest are all problematic in their own way. Arlo is basically the dude who started this shit, he could have let John be but he didn't and basically drove him to madness. John with all his underdog narrative has never actually sympathised with the weaker people at all, all he had was hatred for the strong. He never tried befriending the lower level guys like Sera, nor did he ever completely understood what they went through when they are basically genetically disadvantaged in this stupid society. Isen again is part of the problem, every high class guy and girl basically thinks its ok to look down on people just because they are at a lower tier, pretty sure they all new how the lower tier are being bullied and still did nothing to protect or save them, they just stood by and watch. Blyke even though he is a decent dude is the same, pretty sure he knew people were being bullied and he didn't do anything to improve the situation for them and now that John is basically doing to everyone what low tier people face on a daily basis suddenly people are all worried, Ha! y'all are shit. Remi is the only one who has never been an ass to low tier people, even said sorry when they bumped into John and has actively tried to help people with her hero stuff and Sera is the only one who actually understands what low tier people go through and sympathises with them, Sera is the actually hero of the story. And ever John is doing now is basically making him look just as bad as the asshole Arlo, he is violent and unreasonable.

We need more lead characters like her!

Ren is being such an insecure asshole and it's irritating. I hope we finally see some progress for this manga but my years of experience says we will be back to square one pretty soon with no resolution in sight. The only reason I read this manga now is due to kyoko and wanting to see her happy ending even without a man.

To be perfectly honest, ming qing (older bro) has been a dick for far too long, I can understand him going through a difficult situation and all but Ming Lan did not deserve this bad treatment from him. Going by shoujo predictability, he is the one Ming lan will end up with in the end and that just makes me mad. I hope Ming Lan dumps them all and lives her life on her own terms away from all this drama.
