It’s not really that bad, people are just saying things about Tessa, something about Tessa just being like a pick me (I’m guessing cause I can only vaguely remember the comments, that Tessa expressing her feelings was interfering with whatever Arthur was trying to accomplish). honestly that’s the best way I can describe it cause I’ve kinda already forgotten lol. Don’t worry though, since there’s a light novel, people who’ve read it said that they do end up having romantic relationship but that’s still like super far away when they’re older, and that their relationship won’t make the plot turn into a romance, which people were saying they would drop this if it turned into a cliche romance. Anyways, when they do get together it’s more of a “we’ll work hard together and create strong future generations” rather than all the ooey gooey. Omfg I typed so much and I think I just made things more confusing( >v<) sorry, I hope you can understand this somehow lmao

The true ones know that Tess is a bad b （￣へ￣）yea so anyways, in a further part of the story Arthur has to choose someone like an adventure guide or something and he chooses Tess over his dad but his dad chooses Tess to go with Arthur because she's skilled and what not. SO yea the other thing is just guys that apparently hate any kind of romances or female characters cause they said that they thought that the author was trying too hard to push it into the plot. Even though the romance doesn't develop much until they're older and both of them just focus on growing and becoming stronger for now. So no it's not gonna turn into a cliche romance. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

To be honest, now that I’m thinking about it, the relationship between Kikuchi and Yoshioka seemed to be very superficial and I feel like both of them dated one other for a relationship and not for the actual person themselves. I’m not sure this is going to make any sense >w< . Like they kind of just got together and then they do this and that like a couple should. But they didn’t really have anything that held a connection between them. It was more of like the enjoyed the idea of a relationship and couple things rather than the actual person they were in a relationship with.
I really don’t blame any of the characters and I think this is reality. I don’t think that Kikuchi was done dirty, he got himself into what he knew would happen. I don’t think Yoshioka was being dramatic. And I don’t think Kou is a dumbass or an asshole. I wish people would just be more open minded and look at the reality of things.
