This fucking annoys me, all this story was supposed to be about him not working for free, or being abused, or using his support for stupid people but all he did is exchange the abusive guild master and viscount for annoying “cute “ girls instead, he is still working for free, using his magic for anyone again!!! At least he can choose to use it but still!!! Please ask for more money!!! You’re working for free again, this makes me so frustrated AHHHHHHHHH!!!!(╯°Д °)╯╧╧

I hate female phobic comments like this. What is wrong with you people? Obviously neither of you have read this manga properly. Firstly, he is not being exploited by his friends. Quite the contrary, they are the ones telling HIM not to overdo it. But, you would have known that if you had actually read it instead of skimming it. There is a huge difference between being forced to work yourself to exhaustion on an everyday basis and willingly using your powers at your own leisure. You are completely ignoring his free will. Next time, don't judge someone purely based off their gender.

And as for you: I don't think that you can differentiate between things in the story and things in your head. Because, as a male that has read alot of harem and romance manga (mostly because it's Isekai), I can definitely call myself a harem expert compared to you. In order for a harem to exist, it requires 3 things:
1) You must have at least 3 females in series.
2) They must show clear romantic interest in the MC.
3) They must be mainstay or constantly reoccurring characters.
By definition, this isn't even close to a harem. In fact, the only female that actually loves the MC doesn't tell him and it doesn't go anywhere. Meaning that this isn't romance either.

It's not about sexism, it's about how the girls are used as tools to keep the story and events going even though the same could happen without the use of 90th girl asking him for stuff.
Gonna be honest, I don't remember a single chapter where MC actually does whatever he wants or goes off on his own accord except the first chapters. Since he quit, he's just going around doing whatever people wants again.
Maybe I want to see him relax or have a personal day instead of being chased around by 100 girls for their own amusement and just because they tell him to ''take it easy'' it doesn't mean their manipulation is invalid.
Yes, they're telling him ''not to overdo it'' but they know MC is a generous person and he won't reject them if they ask. They're taking advantage of his kindness to use him instead.
It's like knowing someone is weak to saying no, and then asking for their stuff because you know they can't refuse. Just because you say ''wow thanks you're so kind, don't let the mean girls use you'' doesn't mean you don't belong in that same group.

And as I said, that is not what is going on. They aren't asking him constantly to use his power. He's just doing it himself. And as for the females being used to move the plot along, that's how plot progression works. Your argument is like seeing a chef that makes a 1000 dishes a day retire at an early age and complaining about him feeding his family with a few dishes. The artist did not write them as deceitful or manipulative so regardless of what you say, that is not the case. If anything, it's become clear that you are taking the characters and actions in the manga out of context and projecting your negative feelings and experiences on these characters. So, the question is: Who hurt you?

The girls know MC will go above and beyond because that's how he got stuck in that self sacrificing loop. They know if they talk to MC about such and such, he will do it for them because that's his character. They know about this, but they don't leave him alone.
They know MC will do everything they ask so instead demanding, they hint it and let MC offer it himself. Surely if they like him so much they won't use him and let him rest for a fucking chapter.
Using girls as tools made people hate them in the first place. They're not characters with personalities and values, they are tools manufactured to keep MC performing for the readers.
There are a trillion different ways to continue the story, using the girls for progression is a cheap clutch the author depends on the whole time and it's so badly executed you end up disliking them for forcing MC into a self sacrificing loop again. He can't even rage quit again because ''they never forced him to do it, he volunteered himself''
I don't blame you for not knowing these types of people, assuming you don't go out much or interract with people a lot. I hope you'll get wiser with time.
I read all in one sitting
Really need more!
