I feel like his potential reasoning for not liking his daughter or the idea of his wife as a whole is completely forgivable. if we really stopped to think about how he must have felt having his wife whom he loved simply thrown away a like a disposable object and replaced just because she couldn't have children thenthe idea of him reading himself might be a little easier on the noggin if he of course but in the work to fix the relationship he broke. Let's not forget that this man is a human being with feelings and emotions asking him to simply be okay with his with not the slightest bit of help it's simply unreasonable. That is completely understandable, like I've said i understand and can forgive him ignoring keira, but keira is also trying her BEST to be a perfect daughter for how many years. It just saddens me that after all the effort she has done, he still chose to ignore her just for " rebellion ". Keira didnt chose to be in that life, she didnt chose to be the daughter of the other person that replaced his wife. She's just a child that was born and tried her best to be the perfect daughter, and was confused why he was not even giving her attention. instead of growing up and accepting it, he chose to ignore her like a petty human being. Keira was just a child that hasnt been given enough love, and thats actually also the reason why she's not that sociable and completely alien to the outside world. Because she chose to be with that stupid father. It's my opinion tho, and i respect yours if you think differently.
Yeah I totally agree. He probably should have gotten the help he needed and put on his big boy pants to be there for his kids buuut that didn't happen. The only reason he's acting so clingy to her now is bc he finally realized he was pushing his little girl away and now wants to fix what little relationship he had with her.
I do believe the relationship can be fixed but again boy has to WORK
