It is very realistic the way it's going right now. A close friendship can lead to mixed feelings and more than friends.
I think they have already fallen in love with each other but just haven't realised it yet, the mood I get from seeing them together feels a little different to friendship. As much as I love them as friends i think they will be a lot happier when they realise their feelings for each other. It is also moving at a realistic pace, the feelings also feel very real.
Trust me, most of gay/straight relationship don't work. Especially if it's a close friend of yours.

I used to enjoy reading a lot of those flluffy yaoi school comedies where the uke & seme bang like in the first chapter, but now I feel like if it's porn without plot it's kinda shallow and gross.
I literally started reading Mob Psycho 100 yesterday since I couldn't get that uncomfortable feeling out of my chest whenever I read yaoi.

If you're talking about cliche, if it's a cliche then yuri, as the 'flawless' and powerful student would immediately realize his lover's issues and protect him from being bullied, then they made up. But no, here he also has his own issues, showing that even the most prosperous person can be pathetic at times. And that's good, that's how we people are. On the other side, jaerim, despite his appearance he has a big heart, is brave and dependable. That's not something usually get from a typical UKE. So yeah...
Am I the only who thinks some on this site aren't objective enough to a point where they can't tell what's good writing from bad?
I felt the main story was a bit rushed and it probably needed one more chapter from the POV of the seme, but I really felt the anxiety of the uke. Personally, that's how I usually measure if a story is good or not.

The plot has great potential but I doubt it would live to my expectation. I'm sensing this would go along the lines of Raising a Bat. Great at first then for some odd reason, the author will mess it up only to be the likes of the same old typical shit out there.
I've read all the translated chapters that are out. The hype train remains. The author does a very good job of elaborating and maintaining an interesting story as well as character development in my opinion. Plus Shell and One are just adorable.
