I don't know if I'd say unbearable (though I haven't gotten far into these comments, let alone the fandom), but many people seem to have unrealistically high expectations of how this story will end. Wishing and hoping is all well and good, but Sangwoo is a serial killer. He's killed at least four people that we're aware of, and there's no telling what his murder rate is (how long between victims, how long he keeps a particular victim, etc., etc.). Even if he's caught and miraculously avoids death, he's going to be imprisoned or institutionalized for life. He's unstable as hell and enjoys killing. He's a predator. I don't know if he'll wind up dead or not (I hope I'll enjoy the ride, though), but even if he and Bum somehow end up together by the end of this, that's not a happy ending because their toxic cat-and-mouse relationship isn't good for either of them.

All that being said, I find the whole webcomic really addictive and intriguing. I think it's really cool how the author balances the insanity and the horror with moments of (arguable) sweetness and intimacy. It's a wild time of a multiple character study, and the tension keeps you invested to see where these characters will end up (because, let's face it, everyone in this story is crazy and will likely all be ruined by the end of the whole thing). Everything's so twisted, and I love it (but the people who wish for a murderous Bonnie-and-Clyde-esque future for the "lovebirds" does concern me a twitch, I'll admit). Let's see how it all plays out.

Most of them are outright DEFENDING his terrible traits just because his character design is appealing which is... so tiring. It's so exhausting having to see these children admire a fictional character regardless of their blindingly obvious faults. It's like that recent winter anime where people are defending a bully just because he's good looking.

You are right to an extent, but I do feel that some people are liking sangwoo more for his depth as a true psychopath, he has so many layers to his character and most has stated that if this was real they'd call a bomb squad on his ass real quick, but you are right some people need to be aware that you can't just defend bad behavior and traits because of their appearance.

I mean don't even have a problem liking him as a character. Those that I hate are the ones who are gullible enough to find him dreamy to the extent of finding some scenes "cute". It's like high school girls again falling in love with some ass hole.

That I don't really have an answer too, but I guess by layers I mean the fact that he has multiple sides to himself, that are shown whereas in multiple situations when we see a psychopath we just get the side where they are crazy beyond control and only show physical harm to their victims.

Okay, nothing he does is right.
It's just interesting and part of the story. In no way is it right in a sense, but maybe most people feel strongly for him and defend him because they feel bad for him or want him to be happy with Yoonbum.


Also
Being a 'typical psychopath' does have many layers to it. They're so different in ways most can't relate, so you're learning something knew with every development.
