An isekai story worth the read! Laliette and Rupert have paralleled character development with true enemies to lovers growth. The plot wasn't rushed, there was a worthwhile storyline outside of the romance, and all the characters were able to be developed properly. It was angsty and dramatic but with touches of comedy that made it feel real. I'm so glad to have read it, we love a healthy relationship with respect and boundaries. Rupert is ultimately a green flag who puts in the work to be with Laliette, I can't ask for more!
