I'm confused. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 I mean, I know Gozu sold himself before. But like did he meant his student self or his current self? ( ̄∇ ̄")

Issokay (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ Also, Gozu's student self before he got reincarnated wasn't really given much importance or more scenes and I must've missed some important lines, he probably sold himself out of boredom? It could also have been because of family problems that he sold himself. Or he's from a single parent household and he sells himself to pay for school fees and other stuffs. (⊙…⊙ )

Strangely, Jihyun is the kind of villain that I could not hate. He has a tragic story and not one positive influence was there for him. Chiwoo would've been but he was the kind of person who's rather tolerant of Jihyun's actions instead of reprimanding him. He reminds me of a mother's unconditional love for their children. The kind of mother who turns a blind eye on the bad things her child does because she loves her son.
People cope up differently from bad experiences. In Jihyun's case, his way of making sure no one hurts him again is by acting as a bad guy. The webtoon didn't show a back story on his family, well given that he's a villain, just enough to let the readers assume things on their own. So I'm gonna assume that just like every other kid out there, he wanted his father's affection and love. And judging from how his father easily resorts to violence when his name and image suffers, Jihyun suffers from it. Hmm, could it be that he turned to a bad boy persona as a way to get back at his father? A way to give his father a legitimate reason to hit him? Or a twisted way for him to have his father's attention on him? That he's given up on having his father's affection that he decided on having his hate instead.
Chiwoo didn't care about his family's background or about his bad boy persona. He was just this random kid who wanted to graduate silently and normally like everyone else. But what made Jihyun like him was because of this. And Jihyun grew up without common sense. ლ(´ڡ`ლ) No one taught him the right way because either they're afraid of him or they're with him because he's from a rich family. He was just this.. emotionally stunted hooman? He knew what he did was wrong but he couldn't stop because no one told him. No one taught him. And he didn't know when to stop and how to show a healthy love. Like a kid who finally found a favorite toy and will stop at nothing to have his toy by his side. And that attitude cost him his precious friend.
While I was reading this webtoon, there was a lot of what it's that came to my mind. There was also a lot of things that I wanted to point out but I'm getting tired of typing so I'll settle for this. I just hope that Jihyun, with him studying abroad, he'd be able to learn from him mistakes and grow up as a proper adult. Also, rape is a big no no. Rape, no matter what reason, no matter what justifications the perpetrator has, sex without consent deserves jail time. It is simply a crime. (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸

unsatisfying ending. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ feels like it was rushed. The male character didn't even have a redemption stage. I don't really see him getting a character development as well, unless one can count where he cried about being found? ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
And I don't see them lasting together forever. Call me a pessimist but considering that Jaehyun couldn't get out of that mindset of his for 6 years should be a sign. Though I could see why, no one who was sane enough who can cheer him up and be a positive influence to him was around that time. It also doesn't help that he has a massive ego, assuming it came from being homeless and being afraid of going back there again. With only his piano as his only security and comfort. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍ Though that male lead will probably just stick by his side because of a sense of responsibility.
Inferiority complex and envy can become dangerous. ヾ(☆▽☆)
Soooooo wholesomeeeee!!! I love ittttt!! ╥﹏╥ The only sin this manga has is that it doesn't show their adult life (/TДT)/
