I just briefly breezed through the comments about racism in the story. Yes there is dehumanization of the ML’s people BUT, if ya ask me, it also shows a progression of getting past that.
The old king who did away with interracial relationships and their children. While the current one is Embracing it! So much so he has his own wife who’s a whole queen who was also helping their people to escape because she saw the disgusting situation that was taking place with their slavery and such.
So this shows a Healing route for these people for themselves as well as how other peoples/cultures will see them as well.
