Someone didn't read this manga properly.
The naming of an Imae demon is a highly valued and sacred practice within the Imae demon tribe culture, and is normally done by the tribe elder/leader. Not being bestowed a name is usually associated with being cast out of the tribe and deliberately being ostracized and shunned by your own kind- this is what happened to MC as a result of his mother marrying a human. The 2nd ML was trying to give him the blessing of having a name, which is what MC's mother never got to do (she finally planned to defy the elder and name her son herself, but was killed before she had the chance.)
The 2nd ML knows MC's tragic backstory, and wanted to bring him happiness and belonging by finally giving him a name. His "obsession" is genuine love and is also to make MC finally feel loved, cherished, and valued after all the cruelty that he was forced to suffer in the world since birth. MC doesn't want to accept 2nd ML's affection out of fear he may accidentally hurt or kill him with his demon blood's poison traits.
Honestly, this one is actually quiet sad. Especially as someone (me) who had to be in a relationship with someone that used to be like this, repeating the cycle of abuse is so easy, this story captures that. little fact so well. The cycle of abuse that starts from something so small, you don't even realize that you're developing stockholm syndrome, you can't tell where it started and when it ends, but I truly do wish this couple good luck for their futures (づ￣ ³￣)づ

Last time I read this was when I was 13 and discovered it on yt. Fast forward 4 years, I reread it again... and omfg let me tell you guys, this is ASS. I MEAN SERIOUSLY?! YOU COULDN'T HAVE GIVEN A BETTER ENDING?! (PS- I CANNOT believe someone actually commented that this is, and I quote "finally, something realistic" uhm exCUSE mE????? HOW TF IS THIS EVEN CLOSE TO REALISTIC??? IF U WERE ABUSED BY YOUR MOTHER WOULD YOU ALSO PRESERVE HER IN THE W A L L S OF YOUR H O U S E???) AND LET'S NOT IGNORE THE FACT THAT YOON WAS FUCKING KIDNAPPED BY SANGWOO. (How tf did I find this NORMAL when I last read it?) AND THE FACT THAT HE KILLED GOD KNOWS HOW MANY PEOPLE. I think by realistic, they meant that it was not all too predictable and flowery.... Or like the cliché where toxic people improves there personality and have a happy ending, it was scary and how they didn't clearly mentioned if sangwoo felt liking towards yoonbum or not (it was definitely not love if you ask me) even though its not too real even I kinda felt "omg this is 'realistic' " even though its not like it all happens in real life but, like, things doesn't always end up in a good way, and the usual "obsession, possessiveness, love" mentioned in other comics is not the same here and realistically, much worse things happen in real life... Yeah, it's just that it's rare and we don't really look it up (it's been 4yrs since I read this so things I remember are vague) I'm definitely not gonna torture myself by rereading this

They are VERY slow but it's happening. He kisses Dan when he literally doesn't have to, and in case people didn't notice, Jk ALWAYS cleans Dan up when he passes out from exhaustion.
