I was rereading this since I never really finished it but I forgot that complicated feeling I always felt as an Italian. Like, I'm happy there are Italian characters but it makes me want to scream "who wrote this? Make some damn research if you want to write about a certain culture!". I hate the insensitive ML that mistreated and neglected the FL for more than 10 years and is easily forgiven. I dislike the aide that disrespected the FL at every chance. I dislike all the characters that made fun of the FL for her weight and appearance to the point of developing self esteem issue. I dislike the step brother that looked down on his sister, never understood her or even tried to and suddenly fell for her when she started losing weight.
