Umm not to ruin your happiness but I think the mom is going to die. She said the herb would only alleviate the mom’s pain when she’s dying. It wouldn’t save her from death. Like she said she’s been poisoned (consistently from how I understood) since she’s been in the palace. So the mothers body must be very weak doubt one herb can fix years of being poisoned. Anyways she was moved by the mom but she can’t do anything to stop her from dying at this point. She just wanted to get the herb so the prince will think of her in a better light.
