What a load of bullshit omfg this author is really trying to tell us this was a misunderstanding like we can't go back to the start of the story and literally just see that he WAS a substitute and that he never loved him. A part of this story was him literally realizing that he was actually in love with him after he died I'm seriously considering dropping over this
