i love this story so much! it’s so heartwarming to see all of them live happy lives after all they’ve been through. my favorite part was definitely the characters ;( i think they were all written quite well and honestly quite realistically. this story shows the complexities of relationships and people alongside the simple things in life. each one of them had some sort of growth and were able to help and be helped by others
i thought she’d be like internalized homophobia or she saw someone in seoul get bullied for being gay, but her entire reason is bc she felt “abnormal” bc her parents didn’t love her and thus compared it to the daddies being “abnormal” ????? did she think they’d feel the same as her ??
BYE i srsly thought she’d get character development now she genuinely just feels like a plot device but like, a rlly bad one bc she’s got ZERO meaningful contributions to the story.
i know she’s young, and probably went through some stuff in seoul (maybe her bf left her for another man, or she liked a woman and got harassed for it) BUT WHEW GIRL, i am seated for the inevitable lesson she’s gonna get slapped into her (hopefully)
FOR UPLOADING THE RAWS, FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY !! WITH LESS CENSORSHIP, I THANK YOU WHOLEHEARTEDLY AND OFFER YOU MY LIFE. I COULD KISS THE GROUND YOU WALK ON.
but srsly i’ve been losing my mind over the censorship FOR OVER 100 CHAPTERS
does anyone know why the translated ones are so censored ?? has the raws always been less censored?
i heard that bind me baby was focused on souji and yuu’s story ,,, WHERE IS IT ???
no matter what happens w hot yanagi-san and his hot wife, i wish that everything will end with happiness for rindo and amane TT
damn it tho, i rlly thought yanagi problems were alr resolved TT i’d rather NOTHING happen, but there’s alr too much build up for another issue with yanagi
my god
“i wish to have three meals a day” rlly hit so hard esp being someone who lives in the philippines. itsuomi’s back story is so so real (?) idk how else to describe it but it’s so grounding to me and he’s such a kind soul for forming his dream around helping struggling kids around the world.
yuki’s also so real for crying abt tiny itsuomi carrying the burden of what reality is like for kids in developing countries. TT
this isn’t a topic you’d expect in a shojou manga, but i love that it’s here.
also like how everything is progressing so far ! i was kinda worried when oushi’s friend advised for him to wait it out TT aside from wanting the best for my OTP, waiting would also be so tough for oushi. i’m glad he’s decided to move on.
why would tae kyung agitate heeseo even more when he knows he was alr on the verge of a breakdown bc of all the info
the last few chapters were rlly soft but my fav thing abt this is koharu being so funny
also the notes that told him to “take care” and asked him if he “got fucked” senpai has been terrorizing the school for far too long before his chosen one appeared
i loved it. i always always love works centered around love, whether it be wholesome or works like these were love is the worst possible thing you could do. and it makes so much sense to have that concept in the hell setting, because as demons, it’s so good that something as pure as “love” becomes their destruction.
i also loved how this story presented the feeling of loneliness at being at the top.
i thought for a second that we’d get a “happy ending” of sorts, with makoto and jonathan together, but, it makes the most sense for jonathan to do that, he’s already been lonely for so long. and i feel like he knew that his death would fuel makoto into doing the same thing he did, finding someone to surpass him, and freeing him from the prison/curse of love and obsession.
i hope you get surpassed makoto! taste the sweet release of death, but only after suffering for a few centuries, just as jonathan did.
10/10 story and art for me.
i feel like i’ve reread this story at least three times a year since the first time i ever read it. until now it’s still one of my favorites, it’s just so perfect it’s only 30 chapters but it never felt rushed to me, everything progressed smoothly, the art is amazing, the dialogue is amazing, the characters are great, and dean and craig are the cutest ever
