The names in this webtoon .. Auschwitz... Adolf ... >.>

It's not that deep. I speak german myself and just shrugged my shoulders and wondered where/how we ended up here. lol .. the translation has gotten worse over the course of the story but I'm still grateful to the people who work on this.
The use of german in(to) manhwas is not uncommon.
We had Achtschwert, Achtschwartz, now Ausschwitz... what comes next? lol

Genuine question, if it’s not that deep why post the original comment implying that the names chosen are sketchy bc of their association with n*zis? I was trying to explain how we ended up with those names in the scanlation. It’s an error due going from German > Korean > English, and the examples i gave are just the most reasonable options.
In the notes of an earlier chapter another scan group explained this as well, that the name isn’f auschwitz. Korean writing and pronunciation would make all of the options sound very similar (probably something like A-sswa-te-seo). I see it happen all the time with scanlations with names like Ludwig vs Rudwick, Irene va Elain, Iris vs Alice etc.

Are you perhaps part of the translation team?
It's not so deep/profound in terms of it didn't bother me, because I know how a translation can end up that way, and I made no further reference to the *Third Reich* or anything, don't insinuate more than I actually wrote.
I wonder how you can be so deliberately misleading and misinterpret everything. I'm not going to explain myself anymore. I'm still grateful to the people who work on this webtoon, but I see no reason to explain myself for something I didn't even hint at.
Take a deep breath, the issue is smaller than has been implied here.
Keep up with the good work. I'm already looking forward to the next chapters.

sometimes I wish the authors would react similarly or as aggressively and with the same energy to their own compatriots and the korean websites as they would/do to their international readers (I squint very carefully at the author of Bl*n*d Pla*y *cough*). I can see the Raws on more korean pages than I have fingers. It doesn't bother me that I can't read the webtoon here and it shouldn't bother anyone either. Always be tacitly satisfied with what is available. It is no secret that the consumption of illegal material is now rampant and that korean webtoons are currently being cannibalized. But we are all to blame for it.

That's right, I know. My post was also to be understood and viewed as something general. After all, there are a bunch of other authors who handle situations (+treat readers) differently. The drama about korean webtoons has not only existed since yesterday but since the time of their immense popularity and extremely simple type of accessibility. Anyone can upload here, there is nothing to translate or correct.

this is not and will not be a yaoi. ^^

If the main plot is yaoi on patreon, it is most likely going to be yaoi here.. the free version is the same as the patreon version, just uploaded slower. The patreon just includes extra art and exclusive scenes from the author, so it's still bound to be yaoi as long as the main story is (not extras and stuff).

At first I was really taken with this story. Tea is always a nice topic and I always wanted to drink a little more tea while reading, but at some point it gets pretty boring. Yes, boring. There is no real drama here, no conspiracies, no real threats, no enemies, no obstacles. A cup of tea cures illnesses and probably also preserves world peace. We have here just a woman who finally has the chance to be someone, even if not in her own body. The simple life of a rich woman with the knowledge of her world and a cup of tea as a weapon. I like the emperor very much tho, when it comes to the chatacters in this series. He is a charming man, clever and I like his design. He is my man. But who I find interesting too is also his son. the prince struggled with various emotions and did not understand himself. Getting him out of the picture and force some distance was a good choice. He will grow up after the change of environment. Who I actually pity is the REAL duchess. She also wanted education and respect from young age, and we saw how she became without any support. So for her I wish most of all that she is happy and not alone in the new world.

even if aubrey was totally insane and her fate inevitable, i didn't like the way she was treated. They all suspected that something is wrong with her, that she might run into something... but they ALL choose to avoid the matter. A simple "no", "don't do it" or just locking her away never helps and it didn't help. I'm really sorry for the family. I think about the conversation between the parents in front of the fireplace all the time. never again will they have such a quiet time with easy conversation.

Yeah, normally in stories like these, when a character like Aubrey comes around, when that character is killed off I don't even bat an eye, but it was different this time. Her family was so good, respectable and loyal to the duke, and like whole heartedly too, not scheming or conniving like some nobles playing kiss ass. No they actually contributed and had been loyal for a very long time so when they had to be punished for what Aubrey did I had so many mixed feelings. In cases like these the main culprit got off easy and the innocents have to suffer the rest of their lives.
Ichikawa-sensei is forbidden from ever ending this story! I simply can't bear the thought of saying goodbye.
