i love it, it's not like the cliche manhua about ceo or tyrant, but the female lead is strong and pure, so it's a good manhua if you wanna read.

well i dunno why people are hating this story, bcos for me, it's exceptionally not cliche at all, eventhough it's realy dark and may not suitable for underage, but the plot is good. at this time, i dunno to support either xiaoling herself, or the ml ( li lei ) or the villain ( pei zihang ). yea, what pei zihang did is really not so forgivable, like -DUDE, YOU'RE KIDNAPPING SOMEONE, DRAGGING THEM AND TORTURING THEM LIKE- WHATTTT-- i keep asking myself if zihang is a possessive, psycho or actually obsessed toward xialing. the girl's is really need to pity, bcos she gone through trauma through that suffering- so yea.

but after reading some chapters ( 100++ ) i realized that pei zihang actualy deeply in love with xia ling, so i was like- can i curse at him or- yea so that's why.

maybe everyone have their own preferences, but this story is good. the prev ml tortured th mc, making the mc traumatic in her new life, and the new ml is-kinda-trying to act like the prev one, considering that he actually saw mc more better with the prev ml
