Not "clearly" by any means. Abbreviations in general are very arbitrary and you have to both know the particular words they meant in the context and the context itself to understand.

I'm a native speaker, and while I didn't think it meant child porn (bc grammar, "the cp is a piece of shit" definitely cannot be referring to that), I didn't realize it meant crown prince until I read their replies either. CP isn't used for crown prince anywhere near often enough to expect everyone to know what it means.
In fact, anyone that doesn't already know cp=crown prince in this context, or even any normal person googling what cp stands for would probably think it means child porn lol.
Expecting a non-native English speaker to both understand that it's impossible for cp to mean child porn with the way it's phrased (esp considering that non-native English speakers also comment, so it's common to see grammar mistakes anyways), and also have seen the abbreviation enough to recognize that it means crown prince somehow is way too much.

I think that our ML is still mentally a child. I mean didn't the outbreak happen when the MC was in High school. There is no way it's been going on that long. So he's a hybrid that's grew up way too fast but doesn't have all the mental capacity of understandings as an adult. He has the impulsiveness as a child/wild animal.
There was a documentary about a decade ago. It was on apocalyptic events and the life afterwards. And the number 1 thing that would lead to death of a group would be roaming bands of children. Because we teach children right and wrong, what's good and bad. What is acceptable and not acceptable. But in a society that has fallen the weak die and the pack survive. The kids would kill to eat, and just because.

The mushrooms species probably had evolved to only bring to life 1 spore. And we know in reality that mushrooms are invasive. But this one evolved to not be invasive
What I mean is that the survival of the species involves producing more than ONE heir. If that one progeny dies the whole "colony" dies. Though, assuming that the spore is resistant to being demolished, then perhaps. But it's a typical of a species to evolve to only produce just a single offspring. Although it's not quite an offspring as it is more resistant to destruction than other life forms? Idk.
