My theory is that they believe that if they kill the mad scientist, that all the Guides he "helped" would die. That is why they are all playing along. And if that is true. It sucks ass. Because no matter how powerful the ML is, his guide (the MC) would die. Along with all the other guides.
My question is how? How did this scientist get into the guide facility, they know who the is, they know what he looks like. But all of of sudden they don't. He must have mental powers.
They said he stole the face and voice. He didn't always look and sound like that from their perspective
I may have missed that part. Sometimes i read too fast. OK thats the how, but he may still have some mental powers that could have a dead man's switch on it. That if he goes so do the guides.
