I read up to the beginning of chapter 9 and got annoyed. Like I get that he wanted to be an anonymous sponsor but why do you think a kid would act up jumping off the roof and running away if he was happy at home? But the girl he paid to monitor him was kinda annoying too like, he paid you so much money to let him know if the boy was okay and cLEARLY HE WAS NOT and you just don’t tell him because he didn’t ask???
