omg same at some point i felt like the female lead was crying and fainting every damn chapter and i was really annoyed of it. tbh the plot is kinda meh. ive read the most recent chapters and she cried.....again. i believe there will be more backstory in the future and especially for her destined mark thing, but i think i will also be dropping it for now. maybe it will get better. otherwise, unless you're a huge drama and romance fan, then i won't recommend reading this webtoon.
For me it did. I've also read from other people's comments that there's an explanation on why Zay is like that. Which will be explained later on in the story.

They’re not real siblings..and I think it’s normal for vampires to be with their siblings..Just like Yuki’s mom and dad.The thing that pissed me off with Yuki was that she couldn’t make up her damn mind.Every single time she was with Kaname it was some shit happening..like they hardly looked happy together..Yuki always told Kaname some bullshit and they hardly ever had happy scenes together.The whole anime and manga was shit the character were hot tho.The creator did not know what she was doing and fucked up the whole story.You going to be more disappointed in Yuki if you read there manga.She got kids wit both of them and then Yuki’s daughter fell in love her own dad?!?!..Zero!!!!She was jealous of Yuki and Kaname turned human and zero died of old age I think.

if i remember correctly, the twin brother, the real “hugo” i believe (?) was raised as the successor, but i think he was way more compassionate and milder than a usual taran, so i would say he wasn’t the most intelligent, but also because the doctor manipulated a lot. i believe that the father had another mistress, and thats when he locked the daughter away because of her poor health (deeming her as useless), i’m not sure if she had the same characteristics as a normal taran because she is the child of a taran male x “normal” female, hence producing a female taran.
also the twin brother died a little bit earlier than the half-sister, if i remember correctly, the half-sister died during childbirth (?), i don’t remember if he knew he had a child though.

You’re correct, the female Tarans aren’t born with the regular characteristics cause female tarans are only birthed when a Male Taran has babies with a “normal” human female. The tradition for them was having their son have a baby with their half sister to create a male taran and then the son will have a baby with a random normal female and then the cycle continues...I think
