i need spoilers!!! ive been getting second hand embarrassment from the get go and i just cant take such character. will it stop or will she just continue down this path of cringe fest??
I relate to this so much... my threshold for 2nd hand embarrassment is really low--romantic comedy is so dangerous. If the MC is solidly self-aware, its okay, because I can trust them to do their best, and can relate to their situation... but if they aren't? I keep having to click away to do something else until I can stand to continue, or just give up
Are we the same person? I have TERRIBLE secondhand embarrassment and I do the same thing as you! Sometimes it takes me hours to read or watch stuff because the character does something stupid or embarrassing and I have to pause
Omg y'all I do the same thing!!! I pause right before i can see the actual most embarassing thing happening and I keep repeating to myself "it's not that deep it's just a manga/anime/movie/serie" and sometimes when it really is too much, I take a literal hour long, and come back to finish it lmaoooo
I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I've learned that I miss out on good stories with such a low tolerance, so I keep several browser windows open so I can distract myself and recover enough to press on. I think from now on, I can be assured that somewhere out there I've got at least two buddies who are also shriveling internally and fleeing for much needed healing and sanity ┗( T﹏T )┛
im still wondering about what happened in the hut. the handsome lil boi that keeps appearing and disappearing all of a sudden and why did her clothes came loose on that last visit. was that just a fan service? i doubt it since the author of pays a lot of attention to details. but hmmm.. is the boi the legendary smithy? anyway i hope the lil bro and the duke dont get away with how they behaved tho

this is truly one of the best. FL is awesome. smart and strong. not one unnecessary moments. even the misunderstanding was very reasonable but without further clashing between the characters. ML is kinda cute and he grew to be a better person with the FL. its kinda sad about the beginning and all the deaths tho.
ive read the first 10 chapters and i honestly think the FL sucks. she is dumb and annoying. doesnt look into her situation and gets involved without thinking. she cant even handle her employees when she should know her position. and she cant even talk properly with the duke. like wtf she read the novel and said it was her favorite novel. is there no information that she could use? like.. damn girl do something that is not pathetic please.
yes she read the novel, the novel only touches on ain and him grown up, NOT his childhood. You have to understand that, The novel isn’t gonna give her information on Ain’s childhood because it didn’t revolve around that. It didn’t touch on the servants, not to mention when she first saw the duke he had a DEAD body. she won’t be attracted to that seeing as she isn’t from their world.
damn cliffhanger. i really hope he doesn’t evade the question and actually answer her honestly. i dont think surprising her on a later date on some big event would be great. it totally affect aria’s plans (im sure she has one whatever it is) and anyway, that’s just too cliche!
