I’m pretty sure that the guy in the photo with Jeha is the Kim’s son (the elderly couple who Mongryong stayed with). Earlier in the story we learned that Jeha had a dead lover. I think that person is their son and his childhood friend.
Now I may be totally wrong, but I feel like Jeha’s dad was directly involved in that kid’s death.
