I think it’s more than just the tea thing, it’s also that she calls her a witch (which is associated with everyone around her dying) and it seems like that’s something that the FL has trauma around
Since the girl is under the duke, she used her to retaliate against the duke. Basically using her for mind games and all that, you see how the duke got so angry in the end. She basically just took the opportunity.
