I read some theory about why a child resemble (either) of their parents, its because they love their partner more than their partner loves them like:
if the child resembles the mom, the dad loves the mom so much and vice versa. its like their love physically manifested to the child because they love the other spouse to much.

hmmm, maybe because i was expecting high because of the artstyle, but the story's kinda bland. specially at the middle to the end, the start actually is nicely done it just progress weirdly argh idk~
