I read the raw but I was so frustrated since the story is too damn long and there's too much dogblood happening that I just skip to the end...

Hmmm... That piece of shit did go through a lot (kinda like a repeat of what Niannian go through: eg: bleeding stomach, almost lost his company, keeps getting rejected by Niannian, shot in the stomach, etc.) to earn Niannian back but really.. after all that shit he did, nothing seem to be redeemable. But I guess they even out the score? Justifiable? Enough that you don't want to beat his ass? But still kinda mad because at the end because he did use the "pitiful" card to get Niannian back..

What irks me the most is the mistreatment on the guy that have a crush on Niannian.. he really get the short end of the stick in the story.. just gotta shake your head when you read it.. I don't even like him since I'm not much of a fan on the sunshine clingy type of guy but I feel super duper bad for him

The thing is, there so much assholes in this story that Yansheng seems less asshole...I think. Like, really, the enemies, the mom, the friend, all suck man. The Tang older brother is a cute pie, but Shuo for me seems like the savior complex kind of guy and he did use the guy that loved him too, and... Oh well, it's difficul to list everything and the manhua has a much more light storyline than the novel for sure.

Not that I forgave him, but they are even now.

Right2, how can I forgot about all the shitty things that other characters did.. definitely hate the mom for being toxic and the others who know about Niannian being Yansheng's saviour but being very cryptic about it "YaNsHeNg, yOu sHoUld sTaY wItH NiAnNiAn bEcAuSe yOu wIlL rEgRet iT iF yOu dOn't" just tell the man the truth if you care so much...they are all so shitty that you really feel that Yansheng is less smelly shit in that sewage plant. Definitely did not forgive him but kinda glad that the rollercoaster ride ended.

Yeah, I agree. Shuo really did have a saviour complex. I kinda skip the chapters, so maybe it wasn't that obvious but I do have a recollection of being "Man, this guy is still chasing Niannian till the end.. is he stupid or what?" But yeah, kinda feel bad that he becomes stupid, or maybe I actually want him to be cured so that Niannian doesn't feel bad about him anymore? Or maybe I just feel bad for the bro? I don't know anymore.. (〜￣△￣)〜
