While I do enjoy this kind of toxic seme usually, I fail to see the point of it in this story.
I don't understand why the author went down this road when they had a really good plot with seme showing uke the ways to BDSM and correcting his trashy behavior by teaching him how to get what he want in a healthy/safer way.
The obsessive and possessive behavior of the seme just come out of nowhere. It's like someone tried to cram together their kink and BDSM while they're incompatible.
While not fully bdsm Aliennin my Closet is very cute and funny manhwa, with great plot that involves someone liking bdsm. Has very healthy 2nd male lead (like god damn he is the best character I've read about in a while)
I want something like My Partner's Tastes and Fetishes and the 2nd cp of BJ Alex, which showed a proper BDSM relationship with all its rules and boundaries, like this webtoon at the start. Ang Ang is great too but I don't really like it since the seme let his emotions get to his head and made the play about him instead of his sub so often. Crucial Point had the potential to be something rare and unique but the author decided to turn it into the typical toxic KBL.
Have you tried stories from the dom/sub-verse ? It's usually more respectful of the characters
I've tried some, I do like a couple but still different from what I want since it feels like their preference is enforced to them by birth. Idk I just want something that properly represents BDSM community I guess. I'm not one of them but my curiosity got me a bit deep into the knowledge and it's so interesting to learn even if I don't practice it. It makes me wish to see stories that properly integrates realistic BDSM scene into the storyline, and since it's so rare I crave for it more lol.
I get what you mean, I'm the same, but like you said it's hard to find good mangas or manhua on it. Everyone be saying the seme doesn't love the uke enough as if fighting against his trauma merely to pleasure his other half isn't one of the loudest love confession. The author didn't show it much but doing the things you have a trauma for is really hard to do. Like even within his boundary he kept on pushing it to indulge the uke out of guilt, but just like everyone else he also had limits he couldn't break through. No one should be forced to come out of the closet against their will and no one should be shamed for not wanting to. And his actions showed that he cared about the uke a lot, even the fact that he felt so guilty about the uke having to be so considerate about it showed that. He never verbalized it, but if the uke understood all his actions as his confession of love, isn't it enough?
