i love horror stories. the more gore the better. but honestly, i found myself wrinkling my nose at this one. a lot of the gore is overly focused on cruelty towards the female characters in particular. A girl gets her breast ripped out, another has a chicken literally ENTER her VAGINA and rip out her UTERUS, all while her weirdly conscious head says "hey, thats my uterus" after being torn from her body. It felt distasteful at that point. I am okay with seeing women die in fiction. Equality, right? But it felt overdone here. The particular cruel deaths were reserved for the women. It was almost.. sexualized gore. At some point a girl runs towards our MC and literally says "Save me! I'll let you fuck me for the rest of my life!" While pulling her shirt up to expose her breasts. Immediately afterwards, a chicken pecks through her skull and face. At that moment I was just....... WHAT? I am all for equality, which means if men die gruesome deaths then so should women. But I'm not seeing men have their penises ripped from their body with their intenstines dangling? I'm not seeing men have chicken peck through the anuses to rip out their organs? The sexualized deaths are kept only for the women. And I say sexualized, because even the MC's sister is weirdly sexualized. She is wearing booty shorts and thigh highs in the middle of an apocalypse, while her brother is wearing camo. That was a deliberate sexualized design choice that has no reason to exist in this scenario where they need to blend in to survive? I would understand if her fit was also in camo, but its in a BRIGHT COLOR?? She's utterly useless to the plot too! Just slaps the other characters who try to defend their family. I tried to give this one a shot, as someone who loves horror and apocalypse scenarios; but honestly this one was too much for even me.. someone who is very seasoned with gore! I would give this another chance, but without the sexualized violence. If you're going to be sexually gory, then be sexually gory towards all characters. Those are my two cents.
I suppose a good counterargument would be to not give this manga too much thought. Creative freedom, you know? I understand. I guess I've gotten too accustomed to genuinely criticizing works of fiction (ーー;)

i hate hate hate stories like these. i normally don't like abo stories because they're all copies of each other in this sense. the omega is abused and looked down upon by society, big kind alpha saves them from other big bad alpha. omega is healed! yay! the end. these stories hide under a false pretense of "bringing awareness of the class divisions seen even in reality through fictional means", when in reality its just angst porn with a 'happy ending'. the class division wasn't even solved within the main couple! chikage is now His forever. sure he consented to it, but he's still his to own. and normally i wouldn't be upset by this if the author never meant to make the 'bridge between sexes' point in the first place, but its very obvious that the author attempted to write some sort of savior story in where an alpha who is not like the others saves the omega and then owns him BUT ITS NOT AS BAD AS THE REST OF SOCIETY HERE BECAUSE CHIKAGE CONSENTED!!! chikage is no longer's his family's property, he's the other dude's (whose name i forgot because he's an utterly boring and unimaginative character with no substance other than 'not like the other alphas) property now. BUT AT LEAST HE'S HAPPY, RIGHT? garbage fire. the art is what saved the rating for this manga because the artist is very talented. otherwise the story and characters are boring.

You'd think that in a world where men are able to carry children, just like biological women, society would rejoice! its literally just the ending to a viscous cycle of pedophilia, not a happy ending where the two love each other. that is not love, that is a result of grooming and abuse.
is it just me or were some of the chapters traced over by the translators? like.... they look Very Bad. like chapter 223 for example... it looks like shit. like if someone traced over the original chapter with their non dominant hand
