And he also has purple eyes that represent God's favour, which his children don't have
Also heβs jealous of how jesse is favored (by his queen mom and God/fate) by having the rare purple eyes (and the power he gets from it), how he wasnβt basically politically married off to someone, and not constantly compared to a genius sibling like the father was, basically childhood insecurity + hates how another male got treated normally
