This is what I was saying

Everybody was hating on Ohara but don't acknowledge that most of the people in Shuli's side were treating her like trash. Ohara might have said some spiteful remarks to Shuli but so are the other children. Regardless of how they truly feel, they treated Shuli as someone insignificant in their lives.

I'm just happy for Shuli that everything is different now. I really want to know what happen next in the past timeline but the current timeline is far more rewarding to read.

i mean, ohara really didnt say much unreasonable things, like
he DOES hate her, and the misunderstanding has been there for ages, they just didnt fix it.

What I meant is some misunderstandings can't be fixed after a period of time, so even if O'Hara didn't say it, she would've left

Solely blaming this to Ohara is wrong. All of the kids made their actions to simply satisfy their status. Elias and the twins protected their pride by telling hurtful things to Shuli. The same goes for Jeremy. If Elias and the twins were honest to Shuli then she could have stayed for the wedding. Ohara's word might have triggered everything but kids actions were the ones that pushed Shuli to believe those words.

Everyone acted in a way to protect their own pride and those actions resulted to hurting Shuli.
