Remember? She killed those guards who were trying to kill her on the night of the party. Even if she did it in Psyche's body, it stained itself onto her soul.
For everyone asking who the red haired guy is, he's the sixth and hidden cardinal. For those of you who don't remember, on the night that Medea was almost assassinated, she covered up and said "A guy with red hair and red eyes saved me--" And Eros thinks that it's him. The red-head's name is Phel, and he can see like the aura of people's souls, like if they've killed someone. He is the only one capable of figuring out that Medea and Psyche swapped bodies and that Medea is a murderer. They both have the same goal in common and want to take Eros down from the throne. Also, he was the one who chased Medea down in the marketplace.
