Well Ah Dai is not the type to lie since if he said that it wouldn't necessarily true and also I don't he could've come up with that on his own(i say that truly) ... (=・ω・=)
That's true, his character is suppose to be a little stupid... But I kinda wonder about that, because right after he ate the magical and rare wild plant, he said his thoughts were clear... but then he continues to act as he is...?
What he Ah Dai should have said was, "I'm wearing this ring for my future wife." That way, either she won't take it, or two she will... and he'd get a wife...
