One shot just means its 1 chapter of a full story like its an easy read did that make senses?
One shot means only one chapter, story starts and ends in one chapter
to add on: it's also usually to test out how a story does in a
a magazine before it gets serialized.
so it's the mangaka's shot at being serialized!!
