It doesn't seem like the fl and her crush have anything in common at all; she doesn't like his BO cuz he does sports and she doesn't like his taste in movies, so what does she like? That one interaction and nothing else?
They dont even talk to each other so their romance is going nowhere since no one is taking a step. Her crush literally doesn't know her well other than the "pure and intelligent" persona that others talk about. The fl is too shy to even try talking to him, so unless an event happens, there is no way for them to really interact. So yea- no bond.
What happens when they finally interact? Their expectations would go out the window. FL is not the pure character that the crush thinks since she is pretty obsessed or awkward (from her nervousness). As for the crush, he might talk a lot about sports and movies that the FL doesn't really have an interest in. What else is there to know? Personalities, behaviours, and interests will most likely not line-up to FL's expectations; especially since ppl usually have high expectations when crushing hard on someone. So yea- It is unlikely that they will have any chemistry together.
SUMMARY:
I rambled too much... basically, they have nothing in common, no bond cuz no interaction, and it's unlikely that there will be any romantic chemistry between them.
